Welcoming 2012 ~

I hope you are much better than 2011 =)

• Enjoyed the joys of being pregnant in the second and third trimester!
• Marks the 4th year of serving the country.
• Attended the Pemandu Lab - a proud member of the group who discussed about our importance.
• Big fatty bonus and increment from the current employer, woohoo! Promotion by main employer. Double woohoo!
• Family holiday trip to Europe - started from Rome - Venice - Paris and ends in London during my 6 month into pregnancy. Shopped as hard as a crazy fat pregnant lady can, mostly for baby's stuffs.
• My twin uncle, Pak Uda got engaged! Congratulations!
• Had to let go of all the cats at home - a very sad moment. =(
• Celebrated my 29th year old not in a good health state, followed by lunch at Alexis, Ampang and dinner at Johny's. Got a licence from hubby, perfume set from twins and iPad II from daddy dearest.
• Azzhad Mikhail came into the world! The bestest, most happiest day of my life this year! Watching him grow before my eyes is a feeling I can't ever explain in words. He's already 5 months old and still being breastfed (hooray!) though not exclusively. Has started on solids too, eating like orang besar already, my boy. I love him to death!
• Busy year of searching for a house to call our homesweethome. After several visits, phonecalls and repeating that about 3-4 times, we finally found one near to my parents' and near to amenities such as Giant supermarket (easy to get the groceries), One Baby World shop (easy to get baby's stuffs) and Oldtown Kopitiam (nyummy). But couldn't move in this year as the house needs some upgrading to do.
• Secondment for another 3 years confirmed! And I've signed into the new scheme and decided not to work until I'm 60 years old. =)
• Celebrated our one year anniversary as husband and wife. Time flies really fast ey? I love you hubs! For many-many years to come, sampailah pintu syurga ye bang.
• Hubs bought a Forte and I named it Ben - Hubs told me its my wedding gift. I wonder what I'll get next year? =)
• My raya this year was different from the previous ones =). Celebrated it as a wife and a mother.
• Realised that I'm no longer a size 2, now I am a size 6, sometimes 8. Demmit! Need to start exercising!
• Family holiday trip with FIL to Melaka. A first for me and Mik with the in laws =)
• My friends and I of DPA batch 1/2008 lost a dear friend, Noria Idris after giving birth. It was indeed a very sad moment for all of us. God loves you more, my dear. You will surely be missed. Our prayers also goes to the newborn, baby Rayyan. InsyaAllah, with hardship, there will be ease (Surah Ash-Sharĥ: 94)

2012 is expected to be a challenging year for me and family. Hubs plans to further his studies, I'm still thinking whether I should join him. We will also be moving out into our new house. Career wise, I need to improve my presentation skills since my boss has tasked me to take over all the presentations. My sister and I are planning to venture into a small online business to help with our shopping addiction (huhu). My bro and sis in laws are getting married. I am still thinking as to where to bring Mik for holiday to celebrate his first birthday. Another addition to the family, maybe? (no, not yet, tunggu Mik besar skit la kan?). All in a year. InsyaAllah, may Allah bless us all.
